Case Study
Pine Hills Outfitters
About
This multi-project was assigned in the third semester of the Interactive Media Design at Durham College. This Multi-Screen Retail Installation is comprised of three stations, those include: A Rotating Product Station, an Interactive Catalogue Station, and a Touchscreen Ordering Station. The project started off with creating my own outfitters brand as the base, I went by the name of Pine Hills Outfitters. The coding for each application was provided with a template and was resigned with my chosen outfitters brand. Also, three promotional videos were created to promote the outfitters.
NOTE: Due to lack of access to the Multi-Screen Installation Studio, I have screen recorded the applications in-use and designed vector illustrations to show how the applications and stations work.

Multi-Screen Retail Installation
Rotating Product Station
This app uses a Leap Motion Sensor to track the hand gesture movement, allowing the user to swipe a 360° view of a backpack. This app uses an image sequence of the backpack, also uses motion graphic schematic videos highlighting specs and features.
Interactive Catalouge Station
This interactive catalogue uses a Makey Makey device to display different outfit collections when the user picks up the corresponding item. The user can also press a button above each product to display additional information.
Touchscreen Ordering Station
This app allows the user to view different clothing male or female such as headwear, upper-bodywear, lower-bodywear, and footwear. Once the user has found their clothing, they can add to the cart and change the size and colours of each clothing. Once the user is satisfied, they can print their receipt and take it to the cashier.
Promotional Materials
As the users view the applications, there will be product cards and brochures around the retail display. The product card will be directly beside the Rotating Product App, and the brochure will be placed near the entrance and/or exit for customers to take home with them or take with them through the full display.
The banner ads were designed for online users to visit the website and order products online. There are three banner ads and one looping video to displays products and the brand itself. The video is intended for social media sites.
Promotional Videos
A compilation of the three promotional videos while customers are using the stations.
