Case Study
Lakeridge Health Clinical Research
About
This project was developed in the Collaborative Projects class, during the final semester in Interactive Media Design. The purpose of this group project was to create an infographic video(s) to educating patients about the clinical trials program at Lakeridge Health Center in Downtown Oshawa. After completing our infographic video(s), we were to present them to the client from Lakeridge Health, but due to COVID-19, the presentation was cancelled.
The project objective is to create infographics, or motion graphics video that aids in spreading awareness about cancer-related clinical trials conducted at Lakeridge Health. These videos should also make the patient feel comfortable using simple motion graphics and illustrations.
Tools Used
Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere
Tasks
Our group decided to create 4 infographic videos and one brochure to present to the client.
The topics on each video are:
1. What clinical trials are at Lakeridge Health and general knowledge about clinical trials.
2. Showing stats about recent trials to educate viewers about the program.
3. Doctors interview sharing some experiences about their work on the trials.
4. Informing viewers on where to go and who to ask to join or find out more about the trials.
Each member was assigned one video, or the brochure. I was assigned video #2 the clinical trial stats.
